Ok so here it goes...I live in Northern Ontario (Sudbury) and hunt deer only on crown land (private land mostly on Manitoulin Island) This morning I went out and figured I'd grab a high vantage point point on a pole line. I saw a nice 6 point buck at 400 yards, but didn't take a shot. This is the second season for me hunting deer. I do not own a quad (only a 4 X 4 truck) so I'm pretty limited I guess, as to where I can hunt. I know there is another thread on here on hunting these lines, but are these my best bet up here, as hunting farmland (that is so common in Southern Ontario) is out of the question? I've also seen alot of deer browsing in fresh clear cuts. That's another good option? I'm just getting frustrated, as I've had no luck in 2 years.
