What ever you end up getting .. cut the velcro straps off if there are any !! That sound of pulling velcro apart is most unwanted in the bush. I find the velcro also has a tendancy to "stick" to my hunting clothes when you reach into a pocket for example, then when it pulls off .. there's that wonderful sound again. In my case, the rifle I use most has a hinged floorplate that accepts the magazine. With gloves of any kind on (even the really thin ones ..) there isn't enough clearance between your finger and the floorplate when you depress the release so you can't open it to insert the magazine ! You have to take the glove off and if ya got velcro straps ... well you get the point.
