Government like any household or business has to be run like a BUSINESS , not like the Salvation Army.

Socialism must be rid of in order for our economy prosper.

You can also start removing unions from public sector as they wield far too much power and cause a great unnecessary expense.

Public sector - get a sliver from your broom - stop work - get immediate medical care - file appropriate paper work - meet with supervisor -file paper work - contact witnesses - take statements - do a hazard analysis - throw broom out - conduct study as to what underlying and root cause were - discard broom - work stoppage until safe solution can be found - create a committee to evaluate changes to work practice -create committee to evaluate possible new safer equipment - submit to supervisor for review - approve solution - send out tender for new brooms - received new brooms after tender awarded - development safe work practices for new brooms - conduct training(typically done by third party) - award attendance certificates - return work with newer much safer brooms and work practices - by this time original victim should be recovered from injury but continued physical and emotional therapy may be needed before return to work.

And what do you think the deficit would be if the NDP was still in power? Have a look at the situation in Alberta. At least the government in Saskatchewan is making cuts, and they are leading by example, by taking a pay cut themselves, while the first thing that the NDP did when they took power, was to vote themselves a raise.

Absolutely, but at what expense? Their high taxes killed industry and drove businesses and workers to Alberta for 20 years. With a depleted tax base they stopped spending on infrastructure. The Sask party had no choice but to spend all the surpluses just to get our roads, hospitals and schools brought out of the 3rd world state the NDP left them in.

The Devine government was conservative in name only.

The NDP couldn't balance a 10 cent budget. Look what they did way back when with the Prince Albert Pulp Mill. The NDP bought it but had no market so shut the doors down. I had to move away because of that. Don't try and spread your NDP BS here.

So what exactly should they have done when oil prices are seriously low and the Alberta budget is basically paid for by oil? I don't think *any* government could have done all that much different than what the NDP are doing in Alberta.

Thank you. So many Norway supporters don't get that, or the fact that Europe is a whole other ball game compared to us and our trade with the US.

Haven't been to the Colony lately have you? It's as computerized as any, and likely more than most comparable private / Corp run Farms & Ranches. That Hokey dressed family often rolls WAY nice wheels; they are a Corp in very many ways. One of the ways is how they milk the system for all they can.
But when folks compare West Canada provinces oil revenue to Norway's example...just makes them look silly IMO

Norway always has had stupid expensive 'fresh' produce pricing. Much like the Yukon/NWT/Alaska.
