hunting jacket

I wear a one piece Winchester flo orange coveralls type of gid up (kinda wierd for a Savage freak huh?). On Fridays of deer season I just wear a flo hat and vest cause we push the farms and I do to much walking to wear those friggan heavy coveralls.

Rocky's 4-1 or the Remington 4-1 are great parkas or in the jacket styles. Browning Hydo-fleece would be another.

I have a Remington 4-1 Parka in Realtree Hardwoods HD. For the money ($175) when I bought mine at Wallmart a few years ago. Now think they are around 100-125

Also, check on EBAy, sometimes there are some good deals on new camo jackets.

Wool all the way, quiet and comfortable and stays warm even when wet.
Polypropylene long under and wool shirt and pants, comfortable and warm.

Filson Mackinaw Cruiser.....I have never regretted it.

Also a few years ago Princess Auto in Ottawa had a bunch of Swandri from New Zealand on clearance and I bought a Wool Vest for $30 and a 3/4 Length Coat with hood for $99 best deal I ever found. Great for the extra cold deer season that comes along every few years.

So, after much consideration here's what I bought.

It was on sale at the Lethbridge WSS for 20% off the $239.99, so it worked out to $203 after the tax. Comfortable, versatile, waterproof, breathable, and guaranteed for life, or so the little tag says.

By the way, all the fall/winter hunting apparel is 20% off. Not sure if this is all WSS or just at the Lethbridge store.
