Hunting on bicycle - how to secure the rifle?

Thinking of using my ebike for grouse this fall. Any good recommendations for a decent gun sling that does not require drilling holes in the gun?

You could try the Stalker sling. I made one similar to it before I seen them. I'm sure I could do handstand and cartwheels with mine on. But I'm old I'd probably brake something trying.

I've never tried any Non-swivel No Drill gun slings, but they are out there..... What rifle are you planning on using?

You can adjust how much the rifle butt sits below the pack on these ones.

The vorn packs are pretty nice. I've got the small one (Fox?) it doesn't hold much but beats having to hold a rifle on a long walk

Weve used BLR t/d rifles for a couple years, when packed right they can be ready fast enough

For the cycling days, that's what I cobbled together... also useful for those days when I get the silly urge to go hunt some mountain top...

Cabelas has at least one day style backpack with long arm carrying capabilities, will also carry a bow if you want to branch out.

I found a sling online that functions much like a courier bag. Can't tell how "quick on the draw" I'll be with it, but it seems to hold the gun securely and the weight isn't gonna warp my spine unduly, so I think we might have a fix. Testing continues.
