Hunting Problem - Need Suggestions

Deer hunting is only an intermission for grouse and waterfowl. Now that you have meat in the freezer, you can focus on the fun stuff.

O.K. I agree that post sounded bad. I hunt mature Deer not horns. I've got lots of racks but no head mounts. I'm not a trophy hunter. You guys hunt what you want.

 

[Waterfowler]

Shoot some mallards and breast them. Cut in 1/3's and wash good. Soak in italien dressing for a day or so. Wrap each piece with half piece of bacon and toothpick in place.

BBQ on medium until the bacon is cooked. Duck will be about med rare.

Damn fine eatin!!!

elk is a great choice in areas west. and if near Edmonton (strathscona primative weapons season )gives you anouther buck.
