In Alberta if you have a big game licence and an upland bird license is it ok to pack a rifle and shotgun both loaded while hunting?
Begs tuh ask.............pack'in a fishing rod owt the question?
just get a long barrel rifle and you're... good to go fishing too
From my 40 plus years of hunting I can say that if one focuses on the intended quarry he/she will likely be more successful. I'm a addicted coyote hunter and see many during the general deer rifle season but I almost never cap one as I feel this can possible damage my chances on that buck over the next rise. Each unto their own I guess...
Like asking if you should marry two women at the same time...seems like a good idea when you first think about it...but then.....
I’m hoping to pull this off next week with my Sauer drilling. It's called a drilling. Mine has 16ga.x16ga. over 7x57R barrels, and I have a .22 mag insert barrel in one of the shotgun tubes. Not just two, but three guns in one. Shot this deer with the 7mm and the grouse with the .22 on the walk back to camp. Or take off the claw mount scope ( instantly) and pull out the insert ( less than 1 minute job) and have a lively double barrel bird gun. I like mine a lot. It's a Krieghoff. Costs as much as three good guns, but worth it to me.
