Hunting with a TACTICAL shotgun

So other than looks, barrels and breaching/tac chokes is there any differences internally? Say for instance between the Rem 870 Tactical and a Rem 870 super mag....other than chamber length for the 3 1/2 inch shells?

If I am going to hunt turkeys and coyote, I don't want the fixed cylinder or improved cylinder that most tactical type shotguns come with. I want a shotgun that has interchangeable chokes, and a barrel longer than 18" or 20".

Buy a "turkey shotgun" It has all the things you want including proper sights. If you want to shoot a tactical match throw in a cylinder bore or IC choke.

The only difference other than that fact it says tactical on the reciever is that the reciever is also drilled and tapped for a rail and also comes with one. It only takes 2 3/4 or 3" shells
