Hush Holsters Folding Wood stock

So I tried it out for the first time today at the range and uh well the end of the buttstock snapped, about 10 rounds in. It was barely welded on at all. Will be able to fix it but not a good start of quality for it,,

there isnt any wobble
That really sucks. Would you mind posting some photos of the breakage?

Bummer, let us know what Hush's response is.

Dang! Send pics to the guy/Company, I'm sure he'll do something{compensation} that sucks. Can you post a pic of where it broke?

He said he is losing it on the supplier of the stock because its been happening and said he would send a replacment asap. but i told him not too cause i can have it welded by a friend
That's unfortunate for Hush about the supplier, but it's nice that you can get it welded up locally!

So after a bit up sanding and using a drumell I was able to fit my French tickler into this stock. I shouldn’t have had to do this as it states Chinese one will fit. Mine and a buddies also don’t stay locked when folded. For the money they should be a lot better. I do like the cool factor looks to it though.

I am wondering if US users experience the same or do they just send the substandard ones (factory seconds and thirds) up North.

We are dealing with the importer and then with dealer's margin.

Got mine from BULLSEYE and it was missing the PIN that comes with it. Sent the company a e mail but crickets so far. Also found a video on line there is an issue with the folder hitting the stock marring the finish?and they now have a rubber thing to sort this also.NOT overly impressed.

I have this stock. It looks cool but it was wobbly and the length of pull was too long for me - I’m 6’3” so don’t know what gorilla this is for.

The lock up isn’t nearly as good as my two Samson Ruger stocks.

I LARP’d with it a few days around the house, and decided it wouldn’t work for me.

I put the nice Russian Artic Birch back on, and threw the Hush back in the box and in storage in my gun room. Meh… worth a shot.

My two cents.

Well still no contact from company so I went to my trusty Princess Auto hardware collection and found a roll pin that fit into the channel in the stock. Also used a bit of silicone to keep it in place. The stock fit into a Chin Lee SKS with no issue. The butt release thumb switch I find has x2 positions. First releases the shoulder piece about 90 % then it hits the lock nub but does not engage.Just thumb the switch again and it locks into place.

I also got one. The weld on mine snapped after the very fist round. I contacted Hush Holsters, they admitted issues with the first batch and are sending me a replacement.
