He must do that a lot. His dog in the kennel behind him didn't even flinch.
Fired my 460V off at Phoenix today, rifle side of course.
My range buddy came in for a few shots and commented "That's just stupid! ! !" (in the best possible way of course).
Can't say I disagree but it puts a ear-to-ear grin on my face every time

Why did you use the rifle side?
Wow. It was everything I dreamed of.
Its not so much the felt recoil as it is percussion and muzzle blast.
When you shoot it actually singes your hair (or so it seems).
For a while I was feeling like I got punched in the nose.
I absolutely love it.
The only down side is phoenix range made me shoot it in the rifle range. So 40 yards. Un natural shooting position. Some not on paper
I can't wait to shoot it outside!
The pistol side at Phoenix is only rated to 1600fps projectiles. The 460 and 454 are well above that, usually other side of 2000fps
^^^ are you shooting with a rest?
Definately. I have a selection of bean bags I use. Plus a piece of heavy blanket like paper machine wet end felt to protect the bags from the blast that comes from the cylinder/barrel gap.
lol i was going to get you to teach me how to shoot if that was free hand. nice groups nonetheless.
I didn't know I was supposed to use the rifle side when I shot the .460 there...WHOOPS!![]()
