I am so building one of these this weekend.

a bench gun with a 36X scope and see the movement in those benches.:(

That is why I built the concrete benches for the range.:dancingbanana: They work WELL but are not perfect either. If I had my way out there all the benches would be concrete.;)

I assume you mean the concrete ones at the Brandon Range. I like those concrete ones.

I will not be shooting groups off this bench. Just plinking steel gongs. I have to build them still. But I want one for 300, 600 and 1000 yards.

Got my daughter to load my pictures. The portable ones work well but are to heavy, I'm going to build new lighter ones. The other works well and I'm planning on putting in another at 500yds this summer

Got mine done today. I wanted to cut everything with a chainsaw, but abandoned that idea after the legs. My compromise was to round the edges with a right angle grinder instead of a router. Don`t want it to look too good or my wife will be too critical of my home reno projects.

Your snow has melted!
Your neighbors don't mind a 338 Edge being pointed at them either, cool.

You are Hardcore man, VIP plate even.

The 3 neighbors on that side are all hunters. Everybody on my street knows me as à shooter and hunter, and if they have a problem with it they keep it to themselves.
Do you recognise your rail:D

I built one of these without the seat at work from scraps laying around. Looks like it will work okay, but I had to substitute the big legs with some smaller stock and the rear is not as stable as I would like. I guess I will have to break down and buy some wood for the legs. lol
