Tools alone don,t make a good cake. Knowledge and skill are icing that make a great cake.
My first sks was a 2-3 moa at 100 yds with iron sights (on best ever day)
I helped a friend sight in his with new scope and now he is 1-2 moa (his best grouping) - not too bad considering what the platform is. Don't know why sks's have bad rep for inaccuracy considering. They hit what they are aiming at even if it is the cheek instead of between the eyes![]()
The only modification is a Tapco Intrafuse telescopic stock. The pistol grip is a great improvement for the ergonomics of the SKS. The different positions of the telescopic stock makes it adaptable for all seasons, as well as short or long arms.
No aiming device other than normal sights, no mags, I was using stripper clips.
That was a very nice day, regardless of the cold weather and wind!
