I beat them with an SKS!

I love it...the butt-stocks on some of those other guns cost probably DOUBLE what your whole Norc SKS did...Job well done. :D

The most expensive equipment in the world isn't worth a pinch of coon chit, if you don't have the skill/training to use it properly. ;)

I've seen this before..

My first sks was a 2-3 moa at 100 yds with iron sights (on best ever day)
I helped a friend sight in his with new scope and now he is 1-2 moa (his best grouping) - not too bad considering what the platform is. Don't know why sks's have bad rep for inaccuracy considering. They hit what they are aiming at even if it is the cheek instead of between the eyes:D

Congrats on the win!! Always nice to see that it's the pilot and not necessarily the plane that does the flying.
On a similar note, Ionce heard of a guy winning a local service rifle type match with a iron sighted krinkov!!! (which included a 300m compone3nt). Unbelievable if true.

The only modification is a Tapco Intrafuse telescopic stock. The pistol grip is a great improvement for the ergonomics of the SKS. The different positions of the telescopic stock makes it adaptable for all seasons, as well as short or long arms.

No aiming device other than normal sights, no mags, I was using stripper clips.

That was a very nice day, regardless of the cold weather and wind!

Demand for the Tapco T-6 stocks is sure to increase. Nice day, indeed, when any SKS wins vs. rifles that cost 3-5 times as much. We all know the bulk of the credit goes to the shooter, but it's feels good to know our beloved SKS can still do the job.

That's exactly my setup.....now all I have to do is learn how to shoot like you!
