I just got back from the dealer, I picked up a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab HD. It's even got a CUMMINS, yuppiee......I get her this Friday, will have pics soon. She should make a great bush buggy!

My father in law had one of those a couple of years back He towed a 5th wheel to Arizona and back a few times. He never had any problems with it, except that the squirrels found the sound absorption material under the hood to be useful, and took most of it. One day a fellow pulled along side him at a light, and asked "Whadda ya like best about that rig - the noise or the smell?" He sold it not long after.

Nice rig, Duane - 610 lb-ft of torque should get you into all sorts of trouble.

"Old girl?" Cripes, that's still a new truck in my books! My little '96 Cherokee is getting to be an "old girl"...

Congrats on the new truck. Very nice. And I just happen to like Chrysler products even though I work for Toyota and my dad is a Ford man (F350 duelly with a Powerstroke). I think it pisses a few people off when I pull in there every day in either my XJ or my '02 TJ.

One guy I did some work with over the winter has one, an 05 I think. Very nice truck, you'll love it. The only thing that was a problem for him was the short box. If you work in construction, always buy a longbox. BTW, the Cummins engines are very quiet in the newer models and I have been driving diesel pickups for years now, what is this smell everyone is talking about? LOL
