I drank the Kool-Aid - I joined the Cult - CAA MCK Roni

Has anyone had luck using the new CAA MCK on a glock 19 threaded barrel with suppressor sights? Is there room to do some file work to make it work?

Going to answer my own question with a bit of a review.

Can confirm the mck does NOT work with the suppressor height sights. The rear sight stops slide about 1/4 inch short.

There was however room to do some dremel work and I got it fitted and racking properly. So suppressor sights are possible.

Next the threaded barrel. I read a bunch of reviews saying as long as you remove the thread protector, the threaded barrel will clear. This is NOT the case for my gen 3. Threads were definitely catching on the shroud. A bit of file work later (seems to be only thing not made of plastic) and it's now running as long as thread protector is removed. Looks like there may be room to file more to make room for thread protector but not sure I'm willing to try.

Finally I have an mck for a threaded barrel, suppressor height sight gen 3 glock 19.

As far as build quality I am slightly disappointed with all the sharp edges along the cutouts, particularly where you insert pistol. I have to wipe the blood off my keyboard to type (joke) it already stopped bleeding...

Be prepared to do some light sanding to clean it up a bit.

Lastly in the grip area if you have big hands your middle finger knuckle will have clearance issues, I may try to sand it down a bit.

All in all after some hours of work to avoid buying new sights and barrel, I'm happy with it. Hopefully this helps others in the future.

Update: thought I would add, file face edge of the qd mount and take off the slight plastic lip surrounding the qd mount. This makes regular quick detach slings work without having to order the stupid CAA proprietary kit.
