Cool. I think from the trigger mechanisim/hammer, your signal cannon is upside down on its mount.

After seeing drache's posted YouTube video I agree with your comment and will correct the position in the mount.

IIRC in Britain after they banned handguns, these too were included in the ban due to the short barrel. Yacht Clubs used them to signal the start of yacht and small craft races like they had for decades if not more than a century. They complained to no avail and had to hand them in to police for destruction. Yes, gun bans get that stupid.

I have established that it is a 4 gauge and the shell would have been 4" long.

Have the slam hammer in correct position now.
