So.....I got banned for what I said I was going to do! Not, for what I did!

As witnessed here:

"You have been banned because your stated intention on the expiry of your suspension is "to see how badly I can irritate the Mods". The attached copy of the HTML web capture which was sent to me yesterday refers.

The screen capture is a page back or so! I wonder who is sending him the screen captures?
 
can you get a speeding ticket for telling someone " I think I will exceed the posted speed limit next time I am driving on the highway"

I read through this thread thinking that I might learn something about IPSC. I may have a better insight as to what this whole thing is about.

To say the least I am a bit disappointed with some of the wankers that posted on this topic.

I am not going to be jaded by a few individuals and continue to learn about IPSC and participate. The group that I have spent time with are great and I the newbie have been treated with respect.

I have read other posts by some of the above and believe they have done a great job promoting IPSC and shooting sports. For that I have respect!

I know how you feel.


My wifes cat has a similar problem. It is an indoor cat, has been for all of its 13 years.

The other day someone (ok me) left the screen door on the back deck open enough for it to get outside.

No real danger as as soon as it got about 5 feet out on the deck it was panic stricken and would not move another foot outside..

Freedom can do that in some cases with people who come from opressive regiemes. But have faith........freedom is a tad addicting.

I can honestly say that I have never shot with anyone who I could not at least get along with to a greater or lesser degree. That is not the problem under discussion in this thread. Heck I am certain to an extremely high probability that Vinny and I would have a grand old time at a match and some day I hope that comes to fruition. But again that is not the issue.

The issue is was and shall be the operations of what is the "official" IPSC forum and the inequities therein.

This is a repeat discussion I believe , I rather have a 10rnd mag than live with commies just my opinion not to offend you of course;)
