I really don't understand why he doesn't wear hearing protection? When you wear no eye protection you roll the bones with the odds in your favour but every time you pull the trigger you damage your ears. Fool.

No long waiting in sask for restricted. I walked in to Prairie Guntraders, picked a S&W M&P, paid for it, waited about 5 mins for and walked out with a new pistol. Headed to the range about 3 mins from he shop.

Becuase he is only shooting 5.56mm? I bet you wear ear pro with a .22 LR as well??? Holy #####. I only put in ear pro for the bigger boomers.
And for what it's worth, the enemy doesn't wait for you to throw in ear pro before they start shooting. I learned that early on in my military career.And I bet this is Ryan's feeling on the ear pro subject too.

I wear hearing protection when I shoot .22. Seems stupid not to. I understand you're mil, but all rec shooters I know wear hearing protection.
 
I agree, wear hearing protection when shooting. Maybe not outside with .22 in a rifle, but anything else, just wear it. Especially when you are going on line and getting a bit of a following. you set an example this way. Maybe your ears are shot already(mine are not the best any more either because of my job) but I am sure you would want your kids to protect themselves. Plus it lends an air of competence to shooters in general.

You really learnt this is the military.....really? How many rounds can you fire of 5.56 without hearing protection and carry on a conversation or hear anything at all? Dude, whomever taught you this should be kicked in the throat. Seriously.

Only wear hearing protecting for the bigger boomers? What are big boomers too you? Ho hum.
