I have a proposition

I look at it this way.... an offer has been extended.... douglas took evryone's suggestions and opened it up to more than one shooter / loader.... he said if all 50 rifles don't get done so be it..... He has offered hospitality and a chance to shoot on his dime.... I don't see a downside....

Where do the naysayers see the "work"?..... all that shooting and reloading and firing off alll those guns?.... Yeah, the naysayers are right.... nobody on CANADIANGUNNUTZ would want to do all of that shooting and reloading of all of those rilfes in the company of fellow nutz then have beer scotch and lobster for supper in the most picturesque part of Canada... what was Douglas thinking?.....lol
 
Would love to shoot my Nemesis 308 ( Would be ok for the .25 MOA) on your 500 metres range... Cheers. JP.

You'll all still be welcome to visit though, and shoot all you want.

I use the mobile app on my BB, doesn't show avatars or sigs, and only shows pics if you click on the img tag. :D
 
Hopefully if i can do half good on my 416 Rigby wont be killed by a cape buffalo or an elephant... JP.

I'm on a playbook... I know what you mean about the image thing though... I do use the mobile app also...

I am not in for this because I don't quialify as I do not reload... Otheerwise I would be there...

CGN: "WHAT???? You mean you aren't going to PAY ME??? And I have to get myself up there on my own dime??? Are you NUTS??? Wah, wah, wah..."

For a qualified guy without pressing commitments, this sounds like a wonderful vacation, and merely for the cost of travel. I guess some guys prefer to pay for travelling to a destinaion, and then pay for everything else once they get there...assuming that you could find a way to buy a trip like this.
 
c-fbmi good luck with your quest and disreguard all the KNOBS! that always have to be negative. sounds like a good trip wish i could do it. and to all you knobs yes it's a plot we're all against you and trying to pull one over on you.
 
Read the thread with interest. Met Dennis, read a few of Boomer's & Aubrey's posts (some on another forum) and would travel the distance just for the quality of the company if a similar group were to work on this project - never mind the shooting. Douglas seems okay with people liking / not liking him and been in the community for some time so that shows character too. Good luck to those that take Douglas up on his offer - hopefully he wont make you do any electrical work and keep out of amusement parks - hey you said you are in Whitehorse, its a small town.

Edit - Doug is considered to be an upstanding (and shrewd) businessman (well, at least by the people I know in the area).
