The team
OK all, the team is selected, I can't divulge names or dates for security reasons, I'm sure you'll all understand.
I have a gentleman and wife team from the west, a shooter from the west and a shooter from Ont. Expanded it slightly so we have 3 shooters and a helper for me. To any I didn't get back to, my apologies, no insult intended, just an overwhelming response.
You all cannot believe the response I received re this request, it was beyond my greatest expectations. I have had shooters from all ages and all across Canada who would have liked to come and assist me with this task, and many more who would have liked to come but for other committments and responsibilities, who sent their best wishes and queried the possibilities for a second go around. This post received more than 29 pages and over 280 posts with only a couple negative comments, unbelievable !!!
This is truly going to be a super Scheutsenfest, I think "twodogs" would have been an interesting addition but he got a better job offer with pay so he had to "bow-wow" out.
I have been on the phone all evening with all three parties and I think this is going to be a true time to remember. I would have loved to be able to have all who expressed an interest and could make the time but unfortunately I just don't have the accomodations. To all who would have come I express my deepest thanks and I hope no feelings are hurt, I had to whittle it down to what I have, and even now it's one or two more than planned.
Stay tuned and I'll keep ya'll up on everything as it happens from now till it's all done.

Congrats Douglas- i am glad to hear that you put it all together - and congrats to the shooting participants - i think it will be a fun and rewarding time well spent- i wish i could be there too! I look forward to the results when all said and done! Please be safe - no ones needs to get hurt for a few extra fps ! Concentrate on accuracy - its the most important ! Above all else have fun at this maybe once in a life time opportunity !

c-fbmi, I met you a few years ago at a garage sale, and was drooling over the cars in your garage! Was there with B.B. after her husband L passed.
So people, I can vouch for the incredibly amazing car collection!
Wish I didnt have a job and a mortgage to pay, or I would jump all over this!
Oh, and I am in the 25-35 range, but look nothing like Penelope Cruz, and have a different kind of plumbing than her too!

The first Deer i shot with this rifle was 300 yards
in a hefty cross wind, bear spray lingering in my eyes, and one hand scratching my itchy nuts................ just wanted to see it hit page 30, from a stand still!
It's page 3 if you are smart enough to change your settings...

No can do, as I said before, for security reasons. The "winners" if you want to use that term, have asked not to tell, because then all would know they won't be home for those couple of weeks. Not a good situation I'm sure you agree.
