I probably paid to much and I think the front sight is bubba'd a bit it's ramped and doesn't have a hood......
The stock is refinished and i think they call it sporterized the serial on doesn't match the one on the gun.
barrel is better then I thought it would be but the grooves are huge compared to modern guns...

But I wanted a little piece of history so I bought it..
But I now have an Enfield... the bolt, receiver and magazine serial numbers match...
Where do I find info on the markings (which of the 100 or so are important?) estimate of a date? serial is BL193xx bolt seems tight could probably use a good cleaning...

The whole thing needs a serious cleaning.. there is lots o crud under the peep sight.. If some of the experts put a value on this thing and I'll tell you what I paid after a couple folks weigh in...
