But I have this new 12 gauge that holds 8+1 or 7+1 and I find I am going through ammo extremely fast. I love to shoot this gun and plan on shooting it a lot for a long time to come. None of the stores in my town give very good deals on target loads. You can buy a pack of 100 for $35 at Walmart but it is the Winchester Universal crap that I don't really want to buy even at that price I've had too many bad experiences with it. Anyway, the way I shoot I am in high demand of lots of ammo for as cheap as I can get it. Kind of like surplus semi auto rounds. I am going to need it by the hundreds. Oooooh I love this gun!
So I was thinking well what about making my own target loads? Is it much cheaper to do? Besides the equipment needed to do it of course... Is it worth it? Will I get way more bang for the buck? Or should I just keep shopping online?
