I love my .375 Weatherby.

If the NEW KING hadn't come out at just the right time, I would have had one built. Well, I probably would have just gone 375 AI, although I'd have gone for either depending on what reamer was available at the time. Had a M70 donor action all ready to go. It's the only other 375 that appeals to me other than the NEW KING.

Hornady make a set dies for the 375 Wby., readily available.
Recoil mmmmmmmmm. not too pleasant as compared to the 375 H&H especially with the 300gr. bullets moving @ 2800fps + as compared to 2600 in the H&H .
Not as much body taper as the H&H so no way can you neck size using H&H dies.

.....A gunsmith with a 375Wby reamer could mod a set of H&H dies.

Not quite. A 375 Wby reamer will cut the neck too large in diameter. The neck in the die needs to be cut smaller than chamber dimension in order for the sized case to hold the bullet.

A properly ground roughing reamer could ream a sizing die, however.

Just order a set from Huntington, they ship to Canada no problem. You can babba a set temporarily by running a 340 or 300 reamer into a 375 H&H after you heat and soften them. Have done this lots with lots of wildcats.

Kevan;

Good to see you back on here, I hope all went well on the 28th !!! Happy New Year and many more to come!!

Thanks Douglas, all went well and I've tested clean, just very tired and weak.
I usually try to do something different for New Years, but this was certainly a different way to welcome the New Year.
By the way, A belated Happy New Year to you and all my CGN buddies ..... lets all have a Healthy 2013 !!
