I love my Desert Eagle in .357 Magnum!

.357Mag in an Semi-Auto? That's what the 10mm Auto is for... same power, more capacity and smaller package :)

But seriously, it is a nice piece and if I were to get a DE it'd be .44Mag or .357Mag.

Congrats!~

Might sound like a dumb question  so I apologize in advance.
can you feed .38's in the DE?

Even if they did feed, they'd NEVER cycle the action. DE's love to be loaded very spicy. H110 is your friend, I don't think I've heard of anyone using successfully, anything you'd call a "target load," in a DE. Gotta get me one of the 44's some day.

ETA, no, it's not a dumb question. 38's work in 357 revolvers, so I can see where it came from.

Yea I was dreaming they would cycle :p
I'd love to get my hands on a .357 DE :D

True dat!!! Hotter the better.

The gun becomes more pleasant to shoot ironically, the hotter the load.

I got a 44 1st generation the only factory loads i could get to cycle reliably were sampsons (also israeli did some measuring and found the sampson brass was slightly longer than 44 spcl) but it still packed plenty punch

This handgun has very limited philosophy of use (no, edc, no ccw, etc. etc. what I call a range cow) and therefore, I would not recommend or buy it. Great for an afternoon, but not something I would keep at $0.95 a round. My opinion.

I suggest that one would most certainly want to reload if they own a Desert Eagle, as they tend to prefer very heavy loads. As for concealed carry...how much do you carry your other guns? ;)
