I pulled the trigger on my first black rifle purchase. :ar15:

I picked up a Stag Arms 2TR from ArmsEast this morning.

Now to commence the impatient pacing and happy dance practice for when it shows up at my door. :runaway:

Bought a scope for it yet? What about a foregrip? Pretty surenyou could get some Magpul stuff for it too. Moral of the story is, you will never again have disposable income!

Scope is a Vortex Strikefire, and I picked up a Hogue pistol grip. The foregrip will be a Koolaid AFG2.

There will be assorted other Koolaid parts (BAD lever, rail covers, trigger guard) and a BCM Gunfighter charging handle. (not decided on Mod 3 or 4. Suggestions?)

First things first though, have to get my mitts on some Questar LAR Mags.

Don't forget ammo - you'll actually need about four times as much ammo as you think you'll need. Then, when you run out anyway, you'll turn into a 223 junkie, willing to do anything for a fix - it's a sad situation. Not much you can do.

I've had a 16" Stag for about 5 or 6 years, never had any issues. Ate everything I fed it, its only had about 4500rounds through it, but I haven't had to replace anything, and its still as accurate as it was new. If there's an issue, Arms East should be able to help you anyways.

I got a great birthday surprise today, when my rifle arrived three days early. I unboxed her, and I couldn't be happier.

The Stag brake is pretty beefy.

The Samson quad rail is solid as a rock, and looks perfect.
