I need a new quality scale

I need a new powder scale. My 5-0-5 is not repeatable and I don't trust the little Lyman pocket digital scale I have. What should I look into for a high quality, repeatable powder scale? Any suggestions? 95% of my ammo is intended for paper at the range through various target rifles. I very rarely reload for pistols if that makes much difference.

It appears that the GemPro is the one to purchase. However, I as well started off with the RCBS 5-0-5, many decades ago. I then went digital with the Lyman LE-300, then up-scaled, pun intended, to the Lyman 1000 XP. After the Lyman scales, I never looked back at the 5-0-5. The RCBS 5-0-5 served it's purpose, Lyman is my "go to" scale. They are very accurate! I've been reloading for conventional hunting rifles since 1982.

It certainly improved after the cleaning. However it still doesn't move all that smoothly. Watching it oscillate it seems as though it's something with the magnetic dampers. But it is much improved since the cleaning. It had quite a bit of dust in there.

I've ordered a gempro from fast toys and it should be here on Monday.

Good choice!

I have a Range master 2000 and it's pretty good been very happy. Retrospect I'd probaly save my money and get a chargemaster, maybe next year!

I'd go with a RCBS Combo 110V-AC Chargemaster if you have the money.

For a budget pick, It would have to be the American Weigh Scales GEMINI-20 Portable MilliGram Scale.

Electronic scales are good but I'll always want a beam scale to use a check and as backup. The beam scales aren't as convenient but they don't drift or go out of calibration.

I have a charge Master and a Fx-120i .
When I want my ammo the best it can be I throw a little low on the chargemaster and finish on the Fx-120i . They are all within a single kernel.

My 5-0-5 was acting strange after like 10 years, I cleaned the entire thing spotless, added a foam bumper so the bottom of the beam does not bang. It's back to it's good ol self. Before each and every use now I lift up the beam and hit the knife area with an air duster before I zero it.
