I need a new powder scale. My 5-0-5 is not repeatable and I don't trust the little Lyman pocket digital scale I have. What should I look into for a high quality, repeatable powder scale? Any suggestions? 95% of my ammo is intended for paper at the range through various target rifles. I very rarely reload for pistols if that makes much difference.
It appears that the GemPro is the one to purchase. However, I as well started off with the RCBS 5-0-5, many decades ago. I then went digital with the Lyman LE-300, then up-scaled, pun intended, to the Lyman 1000 XP. After the Lyman scales, I never looked back at the 5-0-5. The RCBS 5-0-5 served it's purpose, Lyman is my "go to" scale. They are very accurate! I've been reloading for conventional hunting rifles since 1982.
