So I am trying to make up my mind on a gun. I have some money to burn and I would like to purchase a new rifle. My picks vary from day to day, but I think I have settled on four and I need help narrowing them down.
The purpose of the rifle it to target shoot, but also hunting from time to time with the right rifle.
Below is the rifle and my reasoning behind wanting it.
KRISS Vector - Big bullet, 10 round round mags, cheapest of all the options.
XCR in .223 - 10-16 round mags, STANAG mags, accessory options, second cheapest (if bought used on EE)
Tavor - Bullpup (cool factor), 10-16 round mags, STANAG mags, third cheapest
Swiss Arms(possibly FAMAE) - super accurate, .223, accessory options
I know each gun has their downsides too.
KRISS - .45 ACP not super accurate past 100 yards
XCR - butt effing ugly (my only reason, but it is a good reason not to buy something you don't like)
Tavor - While the bullpup was a cool factor, it also might take some time for me to learn new mag changes
Swiss Arms(FAMAE) - The price, plus the whole shenanagins that is going on with the SAN rifles right now, but I don't factor that in too much. Also the accessories seem to be really pricey.
I am leaning towards the Tavor because I have heard very favourable reviews from people, I just need a little bit more to push me over the edge. Anyone have experience with all four? or at least 1/2 of the four?
