I shot a crow today and.....

when i was a kid, i asked my dad about crows, and he said that only someone from a certain boot shaped european country would eat them.

I"ll leave the crow eatin to someone else. :)
My brother in law ate a big meal of coon when he was a kid...this was his reaction. :puke:

I don`t eat anything that scavenges.. I guess if`n I were out in the bush and that was all`s a guy could get then maybe. Not by choice tho..lol
I hear sea gulls are good too..lol

no? pigs will eat anything you feed them and are scavengers. eating a crow is still more healthy than eating meat you buy from stores that are fed crap to make them grow twice as fast as they should.

dont knock it til u try it. crow tastes the same as starling, grackle, pigeon, etc.

I shoot crows right beside the barn. they are in there eatting the corn kernals out of the cow crap.

MMMMMHMMMMM damn crows sure sound tastey:puke:

sorry to tell ya, but chickens are the exact same. id actually say they are worse because they live in their own #### too. please explain the difference between a crow eating out of crap and the chicken everyone eats?

theres a lot of "weird" critters people eat that taste very good. if people only knew what they were missing ;)

Exactly. I grew up on a farm in the sticks (wasn't our farm, we lived in the farmhouse though). The beef and dairy cattle wallowing in the filthy barnyard were a heck of a lot nastier with their two-pound dingleberries than the pigeons in the rafters eating from the same feed trough, but if you gave a person a choice, they'd eat the beef, saying it was "cleaner."

And chickens are worse. I had a lot of neighbours who raised them, and they are absolutely filthy. I'd ten times rather raise hogs than chickens. They're nasty. I can only imagine what the factory farms look like.

Ive said it before and it's worth mentioning again, sausage is great in beaver( or other way round?).

Either way beaver meat is worth saving if you catch any. Dont throw it out for the coyotes.

We talented bunch can always be creative in our pursuit of the perfect beaver dish thats worth eating, over and over again.:)

Not just cause it tastes good, but is an environmentally friendly thing to do cause you are going to save a few trees.:D

Crow, beaver, gopher, and last but not least s&*thawks....hmmmm. I don't feel so weird about eating whale, seal, or a few other exotic creatures in my travels. My buddy tried to convince me that squirrel and groundhog are good eating, but rodents are a little past my discerning pallet.
