Have you ever got rid of a firearm and regreted it by hunting season? I sold off my cz 550 American .30-06 earlier this year to finance another project. I used my rem 700 .308 and my .45-70 for this season, but I really regreted not having a nice, wood stocked, blued barreled, mauser actioned work horse. Don't get me wrong, I am still a massive fan the .308 cartridge, and my Marlin is my go to bush pusher, but I feel like there's something missing .This is actually the secound time I sold this rifle, but I don't think it's comming back this time. So, what to do? I guess it's time to start shopping again. I really want another mauser style action, decent wood stock, and obviously not so pretty that it sits in the safe. I have been considering another cz, remmy 798, the new Winchester mod 70, possibly a ruger 77, or at the very most a kimber 8400. I may end up going with another '06, but am open to something a bit more fun, but still an okay deer gun. I don't know much about the .325 wsm, but may look at that. The fun starts all over again
