I would like to know what your absolute favorite firearm you own is.

Remington mountain rifle laminate stock
Talley lightweight lows
Leupold FXIII 6x42 wide duplex w/ elevation turret
X-Mark Pro trigger

I have a McMillan mountain rifle stock on order, and will be installing a Rifle Basix trigger as soon as it shows up. I love this rifle. :D

My old Breda garand. Fell in love with it the first time I held it, just seemed so "right" for me. First time I hit the range with it, never fired a garand before, was grouping just under 1.5" @100 yards with cheapest factory ammo I could find. Went moose hunting with it last year, took a running moose at 125 yards from a moving boat (while driving the tiller with my leg) with a one shot bang-flop through the heart. This rifle feels like it's part of me.

My newest, a 1964 Browning A5 12 gauge.

But I'm also really fond of my 1953 Husquvarna 270.

Mine would be my new to me custom 9.3x62, it fits me perfectly and just feels awesome!

The Lothar Walther barrel, EAW scope rings and set trigger make this my ultimate rifle.

My first gun, a marlin 30-30, which i stupidly sold, guess that means i'll have to buy another one.

On the criteria given its probably my model 1936 Marlin 30-30. It was an issued rifle by the West Coast Rangers in 1941 which was a civilian reserve of sorts that sprung up with worrys of a Japanese invasion of the west coast. Anyways, its well used, blueing and case colour pretty much gone, but the C broad arrows are still clearly visible. It still cycles like a house on fire :cool:and shoots as good as I can with iron sites. :)

Gatehouse: nice buck dude!

I recently purchased a Mint Sako AV 30-06 Left Hand and a Ziess Conquest 3-9 X 40... it is my favorite rifle right now.... cuz it's for my grandson when he is of age.

Beauty rifles, Ted!
My favourite is probably my very utilitarian A-Bolt in .280 Rem, my go-to rifle for 15 years. Way more accurate than I can shoot, lots of power for the game I hunt.
My sentimental favourite is my Model 62A Winchester. A person would have to have no soul to not love those old exposed-hammer rimfire pumps.

Here is my favorite hunting rifle for the moment, a Sako AV in 338 mag. May be too much gun for hunting in Eastern Canada, but with is 18" barrel it handle like a Marlin guide gun. Despite of it's short barrel ( short but heavy contour) and fullstock, it's a sub MOA shooter. The action is what you could expect from Sako, smmmooouth and positive. Recoil is very easy to manage thanks to the stock design. With a Burris Fullfield 2-7 I'm ready to go everywhere in north America.

My browning .280 cause it is so much more accurate than it should be and it embarasses the other members of my fish and game club. The sight in at 50 so they can get rounds on paper, Isight in at 200 cause thats as long as the rnge allows.
