Recoil ?
Does anybody ever remember felling recoil when hunting?
perhaps not when shooting at your standing meat, but it sure the heck is there when siting in and practise shooting at targets.

I would send some of those bullets, but that is an older pic and not representative of current supplies on hand. My 358 seem to like those Speers so I should probably keep what I have left. Have you tried 250gr Hornadys?
It's a M700 BDL.
Try Higginson's. They seem to have a good supply of Hornady bullets incl some of the older ones no longer made.Right on SuperCub,.....no I haven't tried the 250 Hornadys yet, but I have been trying to find the 250gr Hornady RN,...The only box I have came across was at a gun show this spring

I might be able to help you with some Hornady 250SPs but need to do some more load work on the Speers before I sell them.
I like the feel of them, but i cant seem to find any with chrome barrels that are NR, and that concerns me for the bush. I see alot on EE without chrome, i clean my guns well and every weekend i do a once over, so chrome shoulnt be a concern. But in the back of my mind i think it is
The mini 30, is chrome lined but wont let me plink surplus ammo due to harder primers, (according to my Gunsmith, and a few you tube videos) mind you when im hunting, i will be using Hunting ammo which the mini is good at cycling. I shot a friends last year, and it was nice, felt good, light weight and irons were easy to use. I just want a semi fairly cheap (minis most of the time are not) that will eat all types of ammo reliably for plinking and fun days, as well as click bang thud the deer when i see it.

Hunt with a few lightweight rifles or heavy magnums and report back.
Here my other favourite:

Works very well!
Hey all, so got back from a range and man, my eyes opened up. friends got together for a range day....i hinted we bring all NR to have some fun, shotys, levers, bolts and semis. I got my Savage 30-06 dialed in 3 in high at 100 like some informed me is a great idea for my scope. had a fun time with the clays, my versa max and 870 rocked the pigeons all afternoon.
Now to the amazing part. So, i started this chat thinking i needed a short barrel, semi auto rifle in 762, but to my amazment, one of the freinds that showed to the range had a few levers. A 22, 357, and a 3030. Wow, im telling you, wow. I never thought after a few rounds how fun it is to shoot the old west levers. His marlin 336 was smooth, he had i think a henry 22 and the 357 i cant remember. He used to do cowboy action, but now just shoots for fun and meat. So that being said, where can i find a Marlin 336BL, need the big loop for my mits, his normal loops crushed my fingers, he said after a few tips, that i would need a BL for my mits and gloves in wither hunts.
So anyone, know where they may have a sale on, or stock to order a Marlin 336 BL in 3030. Or maybe someone on this form looking to off load one. Also, i see on the Marlin sight that the 336 BL comes in 18". Being a lever gun, i am guessing that this is still NR, some one correct me if im wrong!

lever action in some caliber of your choice??? That would be my suggestion....I have 2 Winchester model 94's in 30-30win kinda the king of the brush guns at one time. fast, light, reliable and minute of whitetail accurate.
