Ideas for Dominion Arms

What about the 1887 lever shotgun? A shorter barrel version of that would be pretty cool - say maybe 14 inches.

You know what - just bring in SOMETHING!! - i'm looking at your site and there's a whole lotta 'not in stock' going on :)

H&R sells a ton of single shot rifles and shotguns because of the accessory barrel program.

You already have the Backpacker single-shot action. Build a rifle on this action with barrels in

.22 lr
.223
7.62x39 (make sure it will work with hardened military primers)
.308
.30-30
.303 British
12 gauge
12 gauge rifled
20 gauge
.410 gauge.

Somehow figure out how to keep the price of the barrels and the gun down, and figure out how to make the barrels easy to swap. Even sell the gun as a barrel combo, but undercut the Rossi Trifecta (if possible). If nothing else, match their price, but allow buyers to pick a wider selection of calibers and buy anywhere from 1 to 4 or 5 accessory barrels, instead of 2 or 3.

China would sell a gazillion of these, because they would be eligible for export to the US as well, since it would be a sporting action. It'd be tough to compete with H&R in the US, but it's possible.

In Canada, I think these guns would sell very well, since we really don't have the accessory barrel program from H&R (although that might have changed?).

Good Idea.

The combo unit( CheapShot) in 7.62X39,7.62X25,.22lr would be great.

Even bringing in accessories that need some final fitting by Canadian Gun Smiths would be great! Fill a void in the market and create employment opportunities for Canadian Smiths!:dancingbanana:

I'm also surprised that none of the smiths in Canada have approached H&R about doing "factory" barrel fitting in Canada...

While we are talking good ideas,;)
How about bringing in some Bayonet/Heat shield replicas for Ithaca 37's

Oh, and what I already said about the Backpacker.....

A clone of the Ruger 77/22 but with a short barrel, preferably 12". Ruger factory mags are reliable, inexpensive and readily available.

Also, if this actually happens can you make the stock a little shorter by 1" or 1.5", it will help when using it with winter clothing or for people with shorter arms or kids.

There already is a Made-in-China 1887 12ga lever shotgun brought in by Interstate Arms Corp. (IAC)...20" barrel though....I have fired several of the shotguns and I enjoy them, although the action could use a little work....
Drum mag for my Grizzly?..I`d buy it in a heart beat....

Sure - i was just suggesting that he bring some in (marstar has been on 'back order' for forever) and maybe get a custom run with something closer to a 14 inch barrel (or whatever the shortest it can be and still clear the grip and mag is)

M1 'Carbeen' in 7.62x25 with the shortest non-res. barrel and lots of surplus would be the sh*t! Perfect home defense gun for the ladies.
