Ideas for Dominion Arms

When i suggested building something like this as a custom project on a s&w model 500 i was warned about the gasses cutting up my forearm. How did they eliminate that issue on this gun ?

It's shielded.

A 26.1" OAL single-shot carbine in a bunch of different calibers?

.357 and .44 are both safe bets. A .30-30 could be interesting as well. Maybe a .45-70 for the brave...

I'd love to see an M1 carbine in .22 Mag or .17 Hmr. With a high cap magazine option. That would be a handy rig.

Won't happen. It's dangerous to use in semi-auto firearms. There are massive recalls from all manufacturers.

CanAm said something about M1 Carbines in 7.62x25, though.

Some of the suggestions here are pretty fanciful. I might as well submit a fantasy firearm wish too.

I would love to see a double stack TT33 pistol with a full-sized grip. Something better than the standard Tokarev. I'd love to grab a few cases of 7.62x25 and blast them through a more modern designed pistol.

Sadly, I don't think these exist, and no one is going to design such a gun. The folks at Canadaammo are great, but they're not magicians.

I think it would be nice to see a Dominion Arms copy of the Desert Eagle in a few different calibers then it is offered right now that are cheaper to shoot, like 9mm, .40, .45 and 7.62x25. It would be interesting to see it in .22lr or .22mag too.

While the idea of making a C96 may seem silly as it is a very involved piece of machining, it is possible as the Chinese did it before. Unlike your obviously sarcastic suggestion.

The real question is what would the price point be and would it be viable... I know I myself would buy one if the price were right. Who doesn't want a C96? They are a piece of kit that has class from a bygone era. If the surviving examples were not either A) shot out clunkers or B) safe queens costing 2k+ there wouldn't be a cry for them.

Though, if it were viable I'm sure they would be pursuing it, since I don't hear word of it I'll guess its not a worth while venture.

Until I hear they are coming next year I'll just wait for a decent Red 9 to come around and hope I have the $$'s to buy it.
