IF a new Grizzly hunt, what gun

Walked into this mess a few years ago. 270 win and 130TTSX

When you see a carcass covered up like that in the bush, it is a great idea to back away carefully.
Old Grizz is likely to be near, and will not take kindly to your presence.

Over the years I have encountered several of those "piles" In one case, I got a good scare, and
thought I might have to shoot the bear, but fortunately, he did not follow through on his charge.

Only a congenital idiot would not get goosebumps when coming across such a pile. EE

I dont think he was worried cuz some logging had taken place and all the bears were killed because of it. Man the one bear was lucky it survived. You may have witnessed the only bear kill in the whole area Buckmastr after the massive kill from logging ZZZzzz Coming from the same person that cant shoot a short mag haha

I was on a fly in due west of Prophet River a few years back. My partner and I were on top and we worked our way through a dip. We paused on a little rise....

Then we noticed there were saplings like that one in the background snapped off, we were standing on a raised mound, the ground was all tore up....

We chambered rounds and backed out of there and then scraped our trousers out.
 
I'm shocked how many real hunters seem to have stuck around here trying to have intelligent discussions while only letting the goofballs keep responding to build up their internet #####es.
 
I do believe the 338 win is prolly the best . But where are all the kills with any cal's .

the artitsts are always misunderstood ... some might have said go back to your shop. communist xmas is coming fast ... on another note trying to go out this week end to see if bears are out with my 9.3x62 .. grizzly tag was $25.
