If CCW was granted, have you thought about what you would carry?

HK P7 next question please

Beat me to it! :) I love that little pistol. Now if 12(6) were turfed too, well then that opens up all kinds of possibilities! :)
The P7 just disappears in a nice IWB holster. I got a great deal on a made-to-order IWB holster from Little Bear Holsters in the USA. But it seems he has some health problems lately and is not taking new orders. :(

"If CCW was granted, have I thought about what I would carry?"

Every single day! LOL!! Especially when I go for walks at night and sometimes at work, actually... in case anyone goes postal.

I know nothing about what carry laws would be like (since you're not allowed to defend your life in Canada :p). Does Concealed Carry explicitly mean no one can know you are carrying? I would say my trusty Walther P99 but it would be too big to completely hide....

Open carry would be P99 or possibly HK USP (.40) and concealed would be SIG Sauer P229 or HK P30.. or SIG P239 or HK P2000SK if it had to be very concealed. I'm sure there are tons of .32 and .380 caliber pistols out there that would be great but I know nothing of them.

Feel free to chime in as to why you would choose DA over SA and visa versa. I would love to carry a G22, but I would think it too wide and bulky to comfortably conceal.

I'd probably get some training before thinking about what I'd carry.

This. Also, wouldn't be much of a decision for me since I only have one handgun (yes, the shame... :D), an M&P 9mm.

Desert Eagle in 44 Magnum using the Blade Tech Holster. Had this setup but got too expensive to shoot since I don't reload.

I'd like see someone carry a DE "concealed!"

Glock 22 wouldn't be so bad in one of these.

A city police friend carries a Glock 23 for work but since he's retiring real soon he's buying a Glock 22 for himself. He's worked plain clothes and stuff for a while and loves his 23.

M&P 40
Who brought this up anyway?...this is such a tease...kinda like saying...if you had a million bucks what car would you drive! (Canada home of the ass back gun laws!)

M&P 9 in a Raven Concealment rig inside the waistband, it's downstairs right now, ammo would probably be 124 hydra shock (also downstairs). If available I'd probably also carry a Smith 442 (feels like a toy, almost no weight) in 38 spl. that gun would be my absolutely everywhere gun.

Any .380 pistol. Weight & size is a factor in the heat of summer and wearing lightweight clothing. Also remember that you will probably be carrying 10 hours a day.

I love my 1911 but have carried it in +25C weather for 10 hours, it was brutal.
