If concealed carry is allowed starting tomorrow, what pistol do you choose?

I’d be carrying a P10C until I could get my hands on a single stack 9mm made for concealed carry like a G43 or a P365. Heck, even a Bersa in 380 or an J frame Smith snub nose in 38 special with proper self defence ammo would be great too.

Really, I think a small and lightweight gun would be the way to go. The full size double stacks / and 45 ACP m1911’s would be in my sock drawer and a carbine length rifle would be in the truck.

I believe in being realistic...either one of the ABBA girls, The End. They sang like angels and and still can.....my EVO Carbine with 33 rds why bother with a pistol.

Having actually cc’ed (legally, of course) in a previous life, I can guarantee you all that you want a Glock, or a small-framed metal pistol (PP? Sig 230? Makharov?).

Heavy metal pistols are a pain to carry around.

i used to live and open carry a 1911 in 45acp and never complained. i had it with me all the time. at that time glock were just a dream and i do not how they will have worked with me.

This is pistol-like, no? :d

I can't believe a lot of you are trusting your lives with 1911s.

At typical CQB encounters the stoutness (energy) of a .45 over would be welcomed. If the US MIL trusted it as a sidearm for decades, it says a lot about the design and caliber.

I'd still trust a 1911 Full or Commander sized for longevity in a daily CCW environment, be it in 9mm, .40, .45 or 10mm.

1911 - 45 for stopping power, 38 super or 9mm for second and 3rd shot accuracy. But if I need to carry a gun, I'm not thinking I want it hidden. I'd pack some form of semi 20 gauge (again, second round accuracy) or a 9mm carbine.

who's got hi-cap mags kicking around lol.

The question is hypothetical - we do not have CCW in Canada. So if, suddenly, CCW is a go - hi-capacity mags will follow. Along with tracers, incendiary rounds and tactical nukes.

For everyday carry, my proven ‘85 W. German P226 loaded with current 147gr. HST’s would fit the bill. A close second I would add to the rotation would be my tuned for carry BHP. Light clothing summer time carry, my tip up barrel Beretta 86 Cheetah.

A really small gun that doesn't attract attention. You don't need much firepower to get yourself out of most situations. I used to carry a Chief's Special 1 7/8", I'd be happy to do that again.

Op original question is not legitiment. Should have asked what guns “plural”. In that case I’d dominate like a fat kid in a candy store. 500 sW on a cross draw chest holster. Glock 17 on the right hip, double action beretta on the left hip. 1911 down the back of my pants and for good measure something like a 686 in a ankle/leg holster. All concealed
