If concealed carry is allowed starting tomorrow, what pistol do you choose?

Honestly I would take every one that I have at home for a walk under the sun before I thought of buying a new travel mate!

I have always wanted a S&W J frame snub to carry around with some +P ammo. It doesn’t feel very good to shoot but its a small lightweight reliable gun for the belt. Im a revolver guy and shoot a Gp100 For action shooting but wouldn’t want to carry it all day. For time in the bush and fishing i would bring my 4.2 slabside 22/45. We have no predators on SWO.

I would go with my Glock 48 in the We The People IWB holster that I have. Gun Belt is a Mean Gene Leather Victory Aegis. Man, that is a sweet gun belt. Or I would go with a Glock 17 (work gun). As long as you have a proper holster and a proper belt that is sized correctly, carrying a pistol of that size is not too uncomfortable. I think a lot of people forget that when carrying a pistol you still have to be able to conduct all of your daily activities with that gun on your hip and with out touching it constantly.

if a g17 is compared to even a 1911 or whatever from the past: it is not that bad all to carry ...
i open carry a 1911 for 3 years and never thought it was that heavy and certainly now will not do it again with better options available but in those days it worked. conceal is a little different but if confortable it can be done with most of the ones available on the market.

More than likely a 5 shot wheelgun in a decent caliber; 44 Russian or such. Odds on ever needing it are against it...might as well be comfortable.
327 magnum would be the next choice.

First Choice - Glock 22 GEN4

Second Choice - SIG P226 Nitron chambered in .40 cal with an SRT kit installed
(butter smooth base model with no nasty big beaver tail)

my two cents ....
