Springfeild Armory M1A Scout Squad with red dot mounted on handguard rail, or the Loaded Stainless Walnut using irons. Such a serious battle rifle. I absolutely love the M14 rifle as it has "muscle" and amazing accuracy. Every collection required an M14 & AR.
A 14.5" M4 is paramount but out in the field with lots of extended ranges/ Forrest/ mountains 1000 yard views everywhere......hands down I'd select the Springfield M1A Loaded/Nation Match in lightweight synthetic camo stock, LC M80's 149 FMJ BT
I've owned my Norinco M-14S for over 10/15 years, bought NIB, has synthetic CADPAT camo stock, fired MANY thousands of rounds of quality 147/150 gr ball and have had ZERO problems, no jams, etc. and VERY accurate for a "Chinese copy" lol
If I had an extra 4K, I'd love a Springfield Super Match in synthetic McMillan camo stock, USGI leather sling, bayo lug, using irons ....such a ###y beast.
