If you are going to throw a mag durring a course of fire...

would people be less offended if Manny threw one of his shoes on the plate?

winners gonna win.

My opinion means nothing but I thought the mag toss was clever and i bet everybody watching the stage was wondering why the hell they didnt do it.

Right, I'm not suggesting it's use in a stage needs to be dictated....

That's all that need to be said, don't like what he did then don't do it.

IPSC is more like the rally car racing point A to B how you get there is partially up to you.

It's a game take it for what it is, not ultra realism like IDPA.

haha... I think thats just creative as heck, well player sir, well played!

note to self... have a weighted bean bag grenade for next years three gun... stomping those activators is officially last year :)

I enjoyed that video.

I guess my only question about this mag toss is, is there an IPSC rule that keeps competitors from carrying around say a bean bag or baseball that they can throw at these activators? I guess you couldn't start the course with something in your hand, so maybe a loaded mag is the quickest thing to grab and throw.

All allied equipment must start on your belt, so I suppose if you had a "bean bag carrier" on your belt, the RO's would be puzzling over whether to allow it.

Stages can include a bean bag or baseball that shooters are REQUIRED to activate the targets with. Shooters would be allowed the option of throwing said item at the activator but run the risk of missing...
