If you could only choose just one (between glocks)...

G17 it cheaper on ammo and less snappy. Plus it not like your using it for CTC or home defence in Canada.

Glock 17/Adv Arms .22 Conversion

Talk to Jo Winkler at Police Ordnance. If you're a current/former RCMP or DND member - you can get a Glock 'appreciation' discount. I just picked up a new Gen 3/Tritium sights for $626 + GST/Shipping. G22's are the same price. G20/21 is $736 + the usual. They're getting a shipment of AA .22 kits in shortly - $439 + GST & shipping and they go fast. These pricings were as of mid march - they may have changed.

Very nice folks and great service. Good luck.

to tell you the truth...i had a choice between a olive drab glock 17, and the brand new 4th gen glock 22 rtf, i figured, i use .40 cal s&w 4046 at work so might as well stay with the same type of ammunition for consistency. The guys are right...the 17 is a great starter and the ammo is cheap...and it does the same freekin thing...just much cheaper everytime it goes bang. still love the way the glock 21 slim frame felt

I did get the chance to shoot both back to back (17/22) and I have to admit, I was more comfortable with the 17. I always second guess myself; I often want the bigger and better thing after it's all said and done.

I don't really like the idea of this conversion kits. My gf wants to start up too and I'm thinking of getting something like a ruger mk3 for her so that i can steal it. Seems like you can get one for as much as the conversion. :dancingbanana:

Would've made for an interesting poll.... ;)

NAA.

If that was the case, I'd probably sell all three and buy a few hooked on phonics booklets in hopes that I can decipher simple sentences. Such as: If you could only choose one gun and it was between the following two, which would it be, and why?

:D jk

Actaully I would go for the G19, if I can't have that then the G17 or the G20. I will never buy a Glock in .40cal, I have seen to many problems with them.

Thats a tough one. I think I'd go for the G17 first. Either way, you can't go wrong with a Glock. There are lots of accessories you can buy and its so easy to take down. I've been having a blast with my Mech Tech carbine conversion unit.

ha tha'ts pretty cool. what is the cost on that whole kit? and does it accomplish anything besides looking cool?

The Glock 22 will work much better as a door stop to hold your safe open as you get a classy, high quality firearm out for some serious shooting. Say, a Sig.
