If you could only have 3 Scopes. What and Why ?

I am a big airgun fan and both my rifles set for target rings shooting only, I don't hunt my family won't eat it and myself I can just eat schnitzels.
1. My .22 Leshiy2 had a Nikko 8-32x60 for 50 meters rings, this scope I replaced last Fall to a Immersive Optics 5x30 Pro prism. This new setup can now focus down to 5 meters, pretty much for defend my backyard walnut trees as well. Impressive wide FOV perfect for browsing the trees crown and up in between the branches.
2. My .25 FX Impact is dressed with Falcon X50T, a dedicated setup for 50 and 100 meter BR.
3. I have a new BR project, building a 308 competition setup for 200 and 300 meters target. Shopping around for a single power scope - minimum x40 to x50, I am expecting to see the holes @ POI without dragging a spotter with me to the range.

Okay so I wanted to say thank you to everyone who added into to this post. It has been fantastic for me.

I still seem to have more rifles than optics but hopefully I will sort that out one day.

1) LPVO: good for almost every need within 1km
2) FFP 20 plus power PRS optic: something i need to aquire... i see the benefits for both hunting and long range shooting
3) Russian 4x PSO optic: because i said so.

Leupold vxii 2-7x32, 3-9x40, 4-12x40.

Covers all my needs and is a realistic budget for glass

And don't pass by the newer Redfields covered under the Leupold warranty for you penny pinchers.
Have two of them now and am dewly impressed with their optic clarity.
Both are in the Revenge classification and not dissapointing for the price point.

Why don't you gift one a try?

I will have to take a look at these. Might be a good excuse to get another optic for "testing/writing/photography" purposes haha.

If I had 3, they'd probably be.
Leupold 1.5-4 VX-3 or maybe trijicon with the triangle reticle.
Varmit scope probably a 4-12 with either SF or AO. possibly a bushnell 4200 or maybe a leupold?
Then a allround 3-9x40 bushnell elite 4200, my Dad has one mounted on a 6.5 grendel CZ 527 and suits the rifle good.

The 1.5-4 I'd use on my 7.62x39 and other close range sub 100 yard rifle.
The 3-9 probably on my 6.5x55 and 25-06.
4-12 on my 457 22 and if I buy myself a 222 or other varmit gun that's what I'd use.

I've got Leupolds on all my hunting rifles.
Bunch of VX2 3-9x40 scopes with duplex reticles, 25-06, 375 ruger, etc.
30-06 has a VX3 in 3.5-10x40 with a B&C reticle
458 WM has a vx3 1.5-5x20
Levers are all iron sights or receiver peeps except for 1 30-30 marlin... It currently has a bushnell elite 3200 3-9 with a firefly reticle.
Have a Leupold 1-4x20 freedom that needs a home. Same with a Trijicon accupoint 3-9x40 sitting in the safe waiting for something to go on.

Any big magnification scope I have had previously(6-24 B&L elite 4200, Zeiss 6.5-20 conquest, vortex viper 6.5-20) on varmint rifles never seemed to get turned up past 12 or so... If I ever get another 22-250 or 220 swift it will likely end up with a 4.5-14 leupold or maybe a 5-15, but not likely any bigger.
