If you could only have one gun, which one?

Unsere Ehre heißt Treue !

What's with the Nazi SS signature.
A lot of good Canadians died fighting those a__holes. The SS motto has no place in Canadian society or on this forum!

Get over it. Distasteful perhaps. His right to free speech, definitely. Grow some thicker skin. The motto is sound, the agenda and organization that used it, not so much.

"All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing"
Edmund Burke

I'd keep my Glock G22. I have a Mech Tech carbine conversion unit - together it would be the most versatile. But given the hypothetical environment proposed by the OP, I'd need the Glock G22, the Benelli M4, the Remington 700 in 6.8SPC and something in 50BMG - as would every other able bodied man or women in my community.

It would fire .45 ACP and be one of these 3. Kimber 1911, Glock 21 or the Ruger 345. I like all 3 of these in my hand.

That would be SIR Edmund Burke. Evil is a make believe title created by religious groups. The motto is neutral, it consists of words not actions.

Without conscience or empathy a Psychopath can no more understand evil than a blind man can understand colour.
My heros are the brave men who liberated the Nazi death camps, not the cowards who ran them.

^ You mean like Gaston brainwashing the term perfection?

Perfection can never be achieved. Glock is far from perfect but closer than many others.

I fully agree!! ^^^^

No way i'd settle for one I would have to have my AR-15 my swede 6.5x55 with my best scope one of my 1911a1 and my DE.44mag. The rest I'd hide. They'll have to pry them from my cold dead fingers like Charlton. The place I used to live is called Opasatika and a couple of years ago a cell of terrorists were setting up a training camp out in the woods
but they had a spy in there midst working with the RCMP so dont think it cant happen in your neighbourhood it happened in mine.

Ithaca M37 Police Special 12 gauge, 3 inch capable with extended magazine.
-manual pump action, not much to fail here and not ammo sensitive, if it chambers, it can be fired
-designed back when quality assurance meant this shotgun, can be used in wartime OR peacetime tasks with only cosmetic changes
-non-restricted, like it or not easier to move about
-easy to acquire ammo for
-can be purchased for a good price in the used market
-iron sights for slug shooting
-.73 calibre makes a big hole in stuff, like infantry musket missions of the past: "kill a horse, and stop a cavalry charge"
-'rotoforged' trademark choke for shot
-parkerized finish, easy to care for
-rugged all steel design
-ergonomic, lefty or righty
-shotguns have better chances in poor light, to hit intended target within range
-shotguns can be used on land mammals or flying things
-7 rds +1, pretty good firepower, and quick about it!
-no loose magazines to drop/damage/lose
-one wooden plug and your hunting game birds
-multitude of ammo capability, birdshot, buckshot, slugs, and various less-lethal rounds
-light weight as far as shotguns are
-time proven design, used by USN SEALS, NYPD, LAPD, and fulfilled duties okay in green jungles and concrete jungles.
