In my current circumstances, 7x57 & 9.3x62. You could swap out the 7mm for a .308.
If I lived farther west, the same 7x57 or a .270 & .338.

One gun for North America- .30-06 or .300 mag.
One gun for the world- .375 H&H

My 1st choice at this time is 7mm-08 (was 308 for yrs). Testing the waters on the 260. Love the 7x57, but I wish there were more deluxe type rifles to choose from. 257 Roberts is another that I have to play with, soon!

Just for the hell of it, if you could only have two calibers/hunting rifles what would they be?

I am going for light-medium to heavy game to 400 yards and after buying, trying and selling a hell of a lot of rifles, decided to go with a 7mm Rem Mag and 338 win mag.

What two would you use?

away too much shoulder hurt there for me! How about 7mm-08? Someone did say it is a hammer at 400 yrds!

For the most part, I only use one rifle for all of my big game hunting, that being a 7mmstw. It always gets the job done.

oh boy, you do mean the "long action" 30-06 right? I'm a big fan of the short action cartridges.

That is just crazy...only two. If i was forced too pick two, i would pick my T3 30-06 and my Rem 700 LSS in 375 Rum. One always seems to find its way beside me come opening day, the other for everything in a area that you are part of the food chain.
