You are going on a 7 day hunt. If you could only take one food item to eat, and eat it every day for 7 days, breakfast dinner and supper, what would that one food item be?

For me, it would be a t-bone steak.

The thought of eating 21 identical meals in a row is enough to make me gag. When would such an occasion arise? Why even think about it?

If it had to occur, how about a stew, with meat, veggies and potatoes so you could at least be properly nourished? A weeks worth of stew - naw, I can't even think about it.

If I had to choose a survival food it would be PB&J on whole weat. I find it filling and gives me the energy I need to get through the day.

But I would never restrict myself to one food on a hunting trip.

I simply wanted to add something light to the board. I was getting sick of seeing the same stuff every day this month.........

veggies.

It's a hunting trip, remember? Plenty of meat running around the woods to go with the veggies.....

I've almost done this. I've gone several days at a time with nothing but a cooler full of burger patties and my little propane BBQ. My buddy brought everything right up to and including fishsticks :)D) to cook over the fire, but ended up chowing down on my burgers. I really never do get sick of them. Now the question should be what type of burger groups best, and what BBQ shoots them the best. :p
