What would you buy? Would you grab a 9mm or .45acp? Would you grab the new Ruger 1911 with a bit leftover to customize it, or grab yourself a Kimber Custom II at the $999.00 mark? Discuss!

I am going to grab myself a new Glock 17 next week, and I was just wondering what other people would do.

With the choices you gave, I would get the SR1911 and spend the rest on ammo or reloading supplies. Not sure what one would need to customize on an SR1911 since it has all the usual stuff already.

I asked myself the same question and ended up with a CZ 75 SP-01 shadow dual tone in 9mm and so far i think it's pretty great...and I had enough to buy 1000 rounds with change to spare of the $1000!
