I am going to grab myself a new Glock 17 next week, and I was just wondering what other people would do.

Yeah, that's a common comment. I actually find them really easy to use and pick-up, but I'm probably the exception rather than the rule. They're also easy enough to replace.

The polymer frame also felt "cheap" compared to that of Glocks or S&W's. I dunno... I'd want a few range sessions with one before I made a decision if I would recommend one to someone else or not.
