Nice anecdotal evidence there. I have handled and shot those hunks of trash. Just the difference in fit and finish is worth the extra money to buy a proper rifle.

Also what is the point of that video? Any AR-15 could do that, not impressive in the slightest.

Thats like saying a AK47s are crap because they have ####ty fit and finish , foolish .. The norcs i shot have good fit and not the greatest finish but shoot great , explain why it shoots better than almost any AR i own MOA all day with US ammo ? Best AR under $1000 except maybe the Bushie carbon15 only other that price with fully chrome lined barrel i think.. Well im done now mr 4000 post keyboard warrior , you should try shooting as much as you type lol.. Well u better get in the last word cause i know a keyboard warrior like you just has to ..

The Norinco rifles are solid, reliable rifles and they are the cheapest AR you can buy that will work. If it wasn't for Norinco's AR's (and all their other products) a lot of Canadian shooters would be saving up for guns they really can't afford, instead of shooting guns they can afford. I've shot Norinco rifles and Norinco major components mounted to other brands, and I've never had an issue. CGN Sparrow once said he'd tried to make a Norc puke, but wasn't able to - his experience with firearms is on a professional level - so I'll defer to his expertise.

And what is wrong with the OP wanting a nice fit and finish on his rifle?
It shouldn't be the determining factor but even if it is, it's his money not yours.
It's the same as telling somebody that they wasted their money on a car because they didn't buy the cheapest thing out there.
Yes every car can get you from point A to point B but some do it better than others.

Not quite. I have an Zastava NPAP and, while it works, I would not argue that it is the same quality as an Arsenal or even a Saiga. Nor would I suggest buying one if someone was willing to spend the extra cash and buy a higher quality AK.
 
Keep your eyes open on C.G.N, for 1000 dollars you can get yourself a decent used AR... Your kidding yourself if you believe these guys suggesting Norincos are the only thing you can afford (Junk). I've been scoping out the exchange for a while now, and i've seen some Daniel Defence AR's go for 1200, Bushmaster AR's for 750, and LTI models, for 1500. Don't give up, and keep looking until you find something you like. I recently picked up a Core 15 w/ 5 mags for 900.

That being said, do you due diligence as scammers are on this site aswell.
