If you were to purchase 4 single-shot rifles, what calibres would you choose?

righto, just all standard factory single shot options which are available, id go something along the lines of (cals ive already got)
the .22lr- small game / peskies..stuff.
A .222- mid game , plinker , spotlighting
A 7mm RM- scoped up LR capable outfit, light enough to cart afar.
and a .303 Brit- lightly scoped 'brush gun' characteristics capable any the 'aught six' will do but with a rim
that'd see me though-- i would proberly have to reload some 'rat shot' in the 3-0 an try for a duck or two at times.

I own a few all ready, it really depends on your shooting choices. Mine run from 17 Rem to 50-90 Sharps. The ones I like most are 17 Rem, 22 hornet(x2),32-40,38-55,&50-90. It always nice to use a nice looking and good shooting single.
I've already got a CVA Scout in .35 Whelen, so I'd keep that. I've also got a Winchester 121 single shot bolt action in 22LR, so I'd keep that one too.
I'd like to add something in between, maybe a 6mm Remington or a .257 Roberts or 6.5x55, maybe in a Ruger #1.
And last would be a Browning 1885 in .30-06, slower powders and heavy bullets in a 28" barrel should be quite a thing.

I currently shoot a 7x57R and .30R Blaser. I'd add a .22 Hornet and be happy. I have a Merkel 140AE in .450-400 3" Nitro Express SxS double for very big or dangerous game, so don't desire a big single shot.
