This thread is speculative, not what we have owned or currently own, but what we would buy if we were to buy four new rifles... a single-shot arsenal from scratch... I will not include shotguns, as they would be doubles (O/U & SXS), or rimfires as they would be bolt and semi actions. Also, not discussed are the platforms these cartridges would be chambered in.

It’s fun to look at the choices. Old traditional vs new modern. Big game vs small vs targets. I lean toward old traditional cartridges but do have modern (22-250:06: etc) . Don’t hunt big game anymore so the hornets get the most use. Good thread thanks.
